It Is About The Light!

Teaching others to see the beauty that is there in their everyday life, in the simplest of vignettes.....that is what I try to do.  It is a trained eye noticing the way the light travels across an object, bringing the form into being out of the shadows.  I hope you will enjoy reading about why I might have chosen a particular subject to paint and that you will begin to see the beauty around you as well.  

These are my musings about why I paint.  I invite you to follow along on this journey as  paintings are posted.  Most will be done in my studio, some in plein air as I travel about.
